Install the chat widget

Add EveryChan to your website in a couple of minutes: create a workspace, drop in one script tag, and start taking conversations in the inbox.

1. Create your workspace

When you sign up you get an organization with a default workspace and team. A workspace is a brand or product line; teams inside it are the groups that actually handle conversations. You can add more of either later under Settings.

2. Add the widget to your site

Copy your workspace ID from the Widget screen, then paste this before the closing </body> tag on your site:

Refresh your site — the launcher appears in the corner. Send yourself a test message and it lands in your inbox.

3. Make it yours

On the Widget screen you can set:

• Colour & position — match your brand and pick a corner.
• Welcome message & agent name — the greeting visitors first see.
• Pre-chat & post-chat forms — collect a name/email up front or a rating after.

These are stored per team, so different teams can present differently.

4. Invite your team

Under Settings → Team, invite colleagues by email and pick a role (member or admin). They'll get an email to join your organization.
