Facebook Messenger

Bring messages from your Facebook Pages into EveryChan, then reply from the same inbox as your other customer conversations.

Before you connect

You need:

• An owner or admin role in your EveryChan organization.
• A personal Facebook account with access to the Pages you want to connect.
• An EveryChan team for each Page's incoming conversations.

Connect your Facebook account

1. In EveryChan, open Integrations → Facebook Messenger.
2. Select Connect new FB account, then Continue to Facebook.
3. Sign in to the Facebook account that manages your Pages and grant the requested Page and messaging permissions.
4. After Facebook returns you to EveryChan, check that the account is marked Connected.

Connecting the account makes its managed Pages available in EveryChan. It does not route Page messages until you complete the next step.

Connect a Page to a team

1. Select Connect Page.
2. Choose the Facebook account, the Page, and the destination team.
3. Select Connect Page to save the mapping.

New Messenger conversations for that Page now arrive in the selected team's inbox. Repeat these steps to connect more Pages. You can also connect another personal Facebook account when different accounts manage different Pages.

Reconnect or disconnect

• Reconnect refreshes access when an account shows Needs attention.
• Disconnect Page stops that Page from sending new Messenger conversations to EveryChan.
• Disconnect account removes the Facebook account and disconnects every Page connected through it.

User data deletion

When you disconnect a Page or remove the Facebook account used to authorize the connection, EveryChan removes the user data associated with that Page or account from its servers at the same time.

Troubleshooting

A Page is not listed

Make sure the connected Facebook account can manage that Page. Reconnect the account and grant all requested Page and messaging permissions. Pages already connected to EveryChan are not offered again.

The Connect Page button is unavailable

First connect a Facebook account that has at least one available Page. Only organization owners and admins can add or change integrations.

An account or Page needs attention

Select Reconnect beside the Facebook account and complete authorization again. If the Page remains unavailable, confirm that the same account still has access to it in Facebook.
